Seeing that everything 80s has been making a comeback in recent years, I'd go ahead and label this era, "vintage".
And since I was born in the 80s and played with many toys and watched many cartoons that were popular during this time, I'm going to use this wonderfully kooky decade as my inspiration today.
Everything pictured below is something that I owned, or played with, or watched, or read, or wore, etc.

oh wow. this was like seeing my childhood replayed before my very eyes! (: i'd forgotten (repressed?!) all about banana clips, jelly shoes and pound puppies! i did, however, play some old school mario on a nintendo this weekend! we couldn't believe how much we still remembered. thanks for the memories!

Oh wow those brought some memories rushing back! Whats great is The Hub channel plays Jem {which I now watch with my 5yr old and think wow this was way inappropriate, ha} and they have new Little Pony and Strawberry Shortcake, Fragile Rock, and the list goes on and on, best channel EVER! Coming from Gussy.
